Payment of service tax

This query is : Resolved

07 May 2013 my question is
if we deposit the service tax as a service provider against the service which we provide to our client, but entire payment against the service is not received from the client and he is also not willing to paid us, then what option does we have to recover back our deposited service tax.

09 May 2013 case of self-adjustment of service tax
-
ajdust in next liability the excess service tax paid.
see rule 6(3) of SERVICE TAX RULES.
BUT BUT BUT
as per actual rule in case of BAD DEBTS you can not use the rule of of self adjustment. (341/34/2010)

Hence with mutual concern with the party do one thing show it like you have not provided the whole service and issue a credit note against the amount which he is not paid, on the basis of that credit note you can adjust it next time.
