02 December 2010 please clarify me whether deduction U/s.80E for the following purposes?
A.Interest paid for the sisters higher education loan
B. principal amount repaid on self higher education purpose
C. principal amount repaid on sister's higher education purpose

However, from asst year 2010-11 and onwards, if the brother is the legal guardian of the sister, brother can claim deduction for interest.

02 December 2010 sir, here I forget to mention onething that sister is dependent on him. Is it avail deduction u/s.80E for interest amount?
