Dear Sir/Madam,
My friend Akash registered a partnership firm alongwith his friend just 2 months back. Till now the firm does not carry any work. Now my question is whether they compulsorily need to file a ROI? And if yes, what would be the due date (July or Sept) & which form need to be filled?

ROI IS MANDATORY AS PER SECTION 139(1)(a) OF THE INCOME TAX ACT,1961. CUT OFF DATE IS 31/07/2012.
