14 July 2010 Will a person residing at abroad is eligible to enter into partnership as working partner registered under partnership act in india

15 July 2010 Partnership is defined u/s 4 of Partnership Act, 1932 in which word mentioned are "any person". So every person who can enter into a contract in India can be a partner in a partnership firm. For instance Alien enemy can not enter into contract so he can not be a partner in a partnership firm.

It may be possible that a person who is outside India is working on behalf of firm in that country. So a person resident abroad can be a partner in India.
