My society is an unregistered society. I applied for PAN of my society and gave notarized copy of society's constitution as proof of existence. Now IT people took date of notary as Date of Incorporation of association. Due to that I'm not able to file my IT return of first year of association's working.
I want to change date of incorporation by correcting my PAN. As my society is u registered it doesn't have any proof of date of incorporation except for the constitution which mentions it.
What documents can be submitted for the correction? Or how can I file IT return to get refund of my TDS deducted by Bank?

Is it showing the TDS in its 26AS?
If yes, show the same to NSDL or UTI as the case may be to support your views about date of incorporation, along with AFFIDAVIT sworn in before MAGISTRATE (and not notary)
If no, file the return physically for the period to the "so called" date of incorporation.

Yes TDS is reflecting in 26AS. I even tried filing manual return but IT dept. didn't accept it.

Then file form 49A for rectification of PAN. It normally comes within 15 working days. Let me know if you face any difficulty in that.

First of all thanks for such a prompt reply.
Sir, Document submitted at the time of Application was Constitution & Sub-rules of the Association. It doesn't mention any date of formation but was notarized on 11.07.2014 so the applicant mentioned the same date on the 49A.
My bank account was opened in March 2013 and the association was operative since then. 26AS reflects TDS deducted by Bank on FD in FY 13-14. Since the date of formation is July 2014 it is not letting me file the return for the respective year and claim my TDS refund.
Please help me with the same. Should I again print Constitution on Stamp Paper by adding date of formation and get it notarized? Will it do in getting my PAN rectified?

Get the pan card rectified by submitting an AFFIDAVIT that the date of incorporation is Mar 2013
