i want to scrap my old PAN number and take a new PAN card.
What is the process??
will i have to submit my old PAN card to the dept. of Income tax

Dharmesh. once alloted PAN will never be change. u can get a new card by appliying for this. but u have to show that ur old card is lost.

No need to show that the old card is lost. Can apply for a fresh card with the present details and present number.
