CAN ANYBODY CLARIFY WHETHER ADHAR CARD IS ACCEPTED AS THE PROOF OF IDENTITY AND ALSO THE PROOF OF ADDRESS FOR APPLICATION FOR PAN ?

As it is not regularized, and made mandatory for all, it can not be given as address proof or ID proof. May be your local banks for account opening can take, for new telephone connections telephone operator may accept, but IT had not amended its list of documents to be given.
