Nri case very urgent

my client is an N.R.I lives in spain and he purchased the property in india through his NRI a/c .so the money transferred from to his NRI a/c ca be considered as capital or not

And the pays donations through his bank a/c to public and also to some registered society , it can be claimed as deductions u/s 80g

04 October 2011 1) Yes. Capital account transaction.
2) Yes. 80G uses the term assessee & not resident. Allowable donations can be claimed.

21 October 2011 Make sure that the organisation to whom your client gives donation is having FCRA registration.
