i filed my income tax return.
in which i showed profit less than 8% of my gross sale. and also the profit less than exemption limit.
but i didn't conduct my audit u/s 44AD.
now deptt issues the notice u/s 139(9).
plzzzzzzzzz tell me wat to do..??
am i did anything wrong?

you have not mention your turnover amount.
if you file retrun less than 8% of profit of turnover. you have to get audit report on your accounts. otherwise you have to pay fine.

audit is required only if total income is more than the exempted limit.
Please refer Section 44(5) of the Income tax Act.

If the overall income was more than 2 lakhs, you were required to get the audit done.

Nikhil you are right but mr Deepak not tell the turnover and show profit less than 8%.
its clear when Deepak tell Turnover amount.
Mr Deepak pls tell turover amount as I already mention that you not mention the turnover amount
