hi friends, recently my client got notice from the income tax department regarding setoff of dues any 13-14,14-15. but actually my client has to receive refund from the department for ay12-13. department has setoff the refund amount. kindly give any solution.

section 254 or 245? check the assessment orders for respective years. There must be some errors in tax credit or tax computation.
