Not file itr but tds have already given on salary

29 August 2014 Sir, I m government empoly,and TdS cut on my salary every year , but I does not file itr ,I file itr off line only once in ay 09-10.now my query is that now my pending option is shown in efiling portal and that 1.ay 10-11; ay 11-12 itr not received, 2. Outstanding demand for 09-10 is 280 rs. Although now I filed for ay 13-14 and demand for refund. Plz help me

18 September 2014 1. payment of tax liability doesn't mean that you are not liable for filing tax return.

2. the pending tax demand will be adjusted by tax department against the current refund before issuing balance amount to you.

3. Further, you are required to give reasons for not filing the earlier returns against this compliance notice.
