17 February 2012 One of my Uncle is on bed for last 1 yr. He has no source of Income. He dont want to file IT Return. What to do? pls help.

17 February 2012 If he has no source of income, then filing income tax return is not mandatory.

Income tax return is to be filed only if thr income of the assessee exceeds the exemption limit.

So, if your uncle does not have any income or even if he earns income but his income is less than the exemption limit, then it is not mandatory for him to file income tax return.
