24 July 2010 I have filed income tax with 1.50Lac for FY 08-09,But in FY 09-10 her income is nil, and IT dept has not accepted the same, Please advice can i filed Nil Income return.I want to get section for amendment. for the same.

24 July 2010 How her income can be NIL she must have earned at least some bank interest. Show at least some income in her return and then file return.

24 July 2010 Dear show any income after all her income is exempt upto Rs.190000/-.

24 July 2010 Thanks again, She want to show correct picture which is Nil. I just want to know we can not file Nil Income after having PAN number? and to show her in the law. How can i get documentary evidence.

24 July 2010 An assessee is required to file his/her return of income if it is taxable -section 139. but assessee can file return if it is below exemption limit. however, deptt. is not accepting return if income is non taxable. in your case I will suggest u to efile the return.
