please clarify.

i have taken mortgage loan from the bank.for construction and marriage purpose.

my doubt is that can i adjust mortgage interest in my income tax adjustment.

please clarify.

08 January 2013 The Interest benefit available u/s 24 is on loan which is taken for the construction of house not on loans which are taken be nortgaging the house.
