Can a Sec. 25 company limited with guarantee merged or amalgamated with a private company??

It means it cannot be merged with a private company..right?? Even though they both are affiliates of each other??

Yes, the other company should be section 25.

OK..Thanx a lot..But isn't there any other way to do the merger?? I mean by application to Govt or anything like that?? because the merger would be in the public interest..

No, because section 25 company is for specific purpose and if you are going to merge with another company then that company should also cover under section 25 Company.
