Long term capital gain -shares

25 June 2013 If there is a long term capital loss in shares transaction i.e. STT is charged in the transaction though we have to not to carry the loss whether it is compulsary to show this loss or what if yes then in ITR 4 where it is to be shown

25 June 2013 It is to be shown & should be shown under section 10(38) as negative figure.


AS LTCG on share is exempt so same section will apply.

25 June 2013 if loss is occur, you should show it and carry forward it.

Show as capital gain loss in ITR-4

25 June 2013 CA Kapil Verma its income is exempt then how can one carry forward & set off the loss from same ?
