02 July 2010 I m a manufacturer and have registered with the excise act and i have purchased goods from excise registered dealers, please let me know ke till which stage can i take credit of the Excise paid by me if the seller has reimbured the Excise from me.
Can i take the credit if i have purchse it from the seller who have purchsed it from second stage dealer...

please reply on this mater soon...

02 July 2010 Dear Niranjan,

regarding excise duty credit you have earlier paid can be taken by filing refund claim with excise department.

you can take cenvat credit directly from the second stage dealer if he has resisted with excise.

02 July 2010 but sir can i take cenvat credit if i have purchased th goods from a seller who is registered as a second stage dealer but have puchsed the goods from a secon stage dealer. please clarify this problem r the chain of cenvat credit with a small example...
