Leave Allowed during Articleship in IPCC format

12 May 2011 I have heard from a senior that leave allowed during articleship is one sixth of the total period as prescribed by ICAI
which in a total articleship period of 3 yrs i.e. 36 months equals 6 months.

Is this true??

ps:i know that exam peiod is counted as working days and only prep leave is taken as leave.
