Late submission of itr v return verification form

13 March 2014 Respected all,
I had filed my income tax return within due date through e-filing with a refund claim. But i could not send ITR V RETURN VERIFICATION FORM with my signature within 120 days stated on that. After 120 days i send the same with my signature, to CPC Bangalore. In this regard, am i defaulter in filing my regular return filing? (since 1994 i am an regular IT assesses by filed my returns within due dates every year). Can i get my refund amount? How can i approach? Suggest me please.

13 March 2014 which assessment year, are you referring? If it is 2013-14, you upload the return a gresh and this time do not forget to send the ITR V

14 March 2014 Sorry for not mentioning the assessment year. It is for the assessment year 2013-14. Here my doubt is, can i upload the return as it is or as revised return? Please clarify my doubt.

14 March 2014 Upload as ORIGINAL. (If XML file is not getting uploaded, then take a print out of screen shot and send the earlier filed return to CPC Bangaluru)
