KINDLY SEND REPLY. KVP PURCHASED 260000/- AND M/V RECEIVED 520000/- IS INTEREST FULLY TAXABLE? CAN I SHOW PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OUT OF SAID MATURITY VALUE AS EXEMPTED INCOME?

Interest if fully taxable in the year of receipt if not offered in respective year's on due basis.
