X Ltd. Purchase 200 unit @ 1200 each for Rs. 240000/- but he received 205 unit by mistake what journal entry pass for excess unit received.

Hi Dharambeer, why to pass the entry for excess units? just record it in the memerandum books as returnable to the supplier as the same does not belong to you. If you remember, the same is the treatment for goods received by the consignee. He does not record the receipt of goods as the same do not belong to him.
