sir,
iam a ca final student, i got a job in one psu they sent my police verification report to the district collector and said that from there it will go to the nearest police station of my residence i went to my nearest police sts but they said they havent got any such form and asked me to go to dist collector office and enqurie their only ,now my problem is whom to ask at collecter office bcoz their wont be anyone helping me out there if iam ignorant pls help me bcos i got to complete my verification quickly otherwise my job will be gone pls reply
can any one tell me what is this report all about?

It is only a formal verification sent by all PSUs. You don't worry and no need to follow it up. The concerned people send the report secretly in due course.
