J1-j2 vat audit not matching

23 November 2012 I have recently received from sales tax J2 uploaded by me and j1 by my supplier.

I notice my supplier has either not filed the correct figures or not disclosed less sale.Hence vat paid less than the set off claimed by me.

What should be the corrective step by the sales tax department.Whether I will be sent a demand notice to pay the set off claimed?

There is always a provision for revising any return. File one more(revised)return correctly and pay the difference of tax,along with interest and penalty as per rules....MJK
