some body"s return is not accepted by the department becos of nil return or the employer detail was not mentioned. he has accoured income in last f.y 1,19000/- frome the intres on fdr. please tell me if has not files his return .then wt will happen after the last date of july . is there any panalty for that .

You can file belated return u/s 139(4) till 31.03.2011 without any penalty. It would be best if you file electronically. Its hassle free.
