I have down loaded ITR 1 and filled all the required details.
I have converted the file to XML. But while uploading it shows the following:
Invalid XML. Please generate XML again using the latest utility.
Due to the above i m unable to upload the IT return. Pls help me out

Best way to file ITR1 is by using Quick efile ITR option after login at your Income Tax Account.
