Dear Sir,
i have fillied ITR - I please guide me how to upload the file and get acknowledgement through online.( is the digital signature mandatory or can i file thorough xml file.)

Digital signature not mandatory for ITR-1 so you can upload without Digital signature and once upload get verification form take printout and sent to CPC- Bangalore

No. Digital signature is not mandatory for individual.
1) Register your PAN
2) Fill up ITR
3) Validate All sheets
4) Generate and save xml
5) Log in
6) upload xml
7) Save acknowledgment.
8) Open by giving password i.e. PAN followed by DO in small letter
e.g aabpg1242a24121982
9) Take printout and send to CPC banglore by ordinary post.
