03 August 2016 I have few doubts regarding e-filing.

I'm working in a hospital and my net taxable salary is 2.71 lakhs. But, I also have a part time job whose net income comes around 3 lakhs. PF, LIC, Professional Tax etc are cut from my full time salary. But, TDS is not deducted from from any and I do not have Form-16.

My part time job is contract based where in I am paid per hour worked and I receive the payment against the invoice raised in each month. Its not a fixed amount as the number of hours worked will be different in every month.

I would like to know deductions which I can claim for my part time salary. I am maintaining a laptop (Bought a new one in April 2016) and multiple net connections for part time job. I'm staying in a rented house for which I'm paying 96000/- as rent per year.

Please guide me with filing my return.

03 August 2016 the expenses which are connected with earning of that income can be claimed as deduction......you need to take the call accordingly as to how you can connect all those expenses mentioned in your query, with earning of income from clock hour basis...... prima facie...travelling can be associated/connected
rent you can opt for deduction u/s 80GG
