Can any one explain process about issuing of form 16 (Employees) for the FY 2011-12?
Is it necessary to issue downloaded form 16 from NSDL website along with manually Form 16 generated by our own system.

28 May 2012 It is NOT mandatory to download Form 16 from NSDL website.

The requirement is only for Form 16A.

You can issue manual Form 16.

Moreover, the Form 16 downloaded from NSDL website does not contain details such as salary and deductions. It contains only details of TDS. So it is not of much use to the employee.

Therefore, you should issue manual TDS certificate.
