07 May 2010 I hv recently completed my CA. Now i want to ask is there any benefit if i go for ISA?
I will go for practice this year.

Is ISA necessary to get bank audits?

07 May 2010 Yes. ISA is necessary to get Bank audits in case of proprietory concern.

However, In case of a firm, at least one partner should be ISA qualified and bank audit wiil be allotted only on his basis.

07 May 2010 what if i do not apply for firm name and do practice as individual...will i be given bank audits if i do ISA..

Can u plz also tell me the cities where ISA training is provided?

07 May 2010 Yes, If you do ISA, then you met the Qualification for appointment as an auditor of a Bank.
