Intervening holiday between exams

i would like to know that intervening holiday between exam does mean that any day coming in between of exams or only sunday (being a holiday) is only counted as intervening holiday between icai exams, which has to be given present by the employer.

24 May 2012 All days during the examination period on which the exam is not held are intervening holidays.
