Interest on revised return

I am revising return u/s. 139(5) there is no additional tax payable due to revision still itr 4s is calculating interest.
we had filed return before due date and tax was also paid before due date.
please let me know is this interest payable as need to revise return is only due to clerical mistake.
please answer asap

In case there is no additional tax payable, you may overlook the interest amount and treat the same as "any type" of error.

Thanks for prompt reply sir, but the issue is as i have not paid interest xml is not generated and its not possible to file revised return without generation of xml file.
please guide me what should i do?

Please check that you have selected Section 139(5) and not Section 139(4).
If you have selected Section 139(4), then interest will be calculated.
If you have selected Section 139(4), then interest will be calculated.

There is some error in form with this regard.

download a fresh form. fill in properly and send. there may be some other mistake.
