i had filed my it returns online for ay12-13 wherein i was supposed to receive a refund of 24363/-.i received refund of25700/- on 26.9.13.ie interest of 1337/-
with a rate of interest of6% it works out for 11 months .refund order was dated 7.2.13 but the payment was credited on 26.9.13.
i filed rectification request for payment of interest from feb to sept online .the status now shows as rejected .
first - is my stand correct.
second- if yes what should i do now

The interest is computable from from 1 day of the assessment year to the month in which Refund order is issued.
