Interest on late Payment of Service Tax

Hi All,
Greetings of the day,
Can anyone explain that if an assessee is paying Service Tax electronically and 6th was sunday so he is willing to pay on 7th then whether Intrest will also be payable or not?

Interest @18%pa calculated on No of days delay in remitting the tax amount.
