Interest on housing loan

21 December 2011 if one property having two portion, out which one portion is self occupied and another one is given for rent. Interest paid for housing loan on the same house for Rs.2,97,350/-, please clarify that exemption limit restricted to Rs.150000/- or can we take actual amount as exemption, pl. advise
