Input Tax Credit of GST paid under RCM

when can itput tax credit be availed in respect of GST paid under RCM? Is it to be availed in same tax period or in next tax period? Please post your answers in context of law and with justification

ITC can be claimed in the same tax period if payment made in same tax period. For example RCM tax paid in July can be claimed in July month return.
