03 May 2009 A company whether Foreign Wholly owned subsidiary or otherwise is a limited liability company.

For making a Foreign Wholly owned subsidiary there needs to be a foreign holding company.

04 May 2009 Advantage from which perspactive you are looking at, is is Income tax benefit or any other perspective. In you query an Indian Company can incorporate a WOS in any counry ourside india and than an Indian WOS can be incorporated by that foreign Sub of original Indian Company, All this structures are subject to Indian tax and regulatory restrictions . So one has to be very clear of the perspective before deciding the benfits or loss of any structure.
