Form 26QC stuck on Pending for AO approval

27 July 2025 I had filed form 26QC correction and it has been approved by the landlord but now its stuck on AO approval. Will there be a problem getting the approval from AO? How to find out his contact details and what are the documents required to be submitted to the AO?

27 July 2025 If you had submitted confirming documents while filing the rectification application, no query would be asked. Otherwise AO may mail you to submit the required document/s. Need not worry, it gets processed after verification.

Sir there was no option for filing the supporting documents and I have not received any mails yet from the AO for submission of documents.

27 July 2025 If AO requires it for verification, you will get mail. Otherwise it will be cleared. Wait for his approval.

02 August 2025 Check if the AO has already specified any; otherwise the relevant document/s which authenticate the change/correction in the original filed form 26QC.

02 August 2025 Sir the AO has not specified anything in particular. And the change pertains to the amount paid/credited column. It was inadvertently filled as the monthly rent amount instead of the annual rent. So could you please help with the docs necessary.
