What is Procedure for claiming I.T.Refund relevent to Asst.Year 2009-10 which he still not received till date.When I enquired with Department they said that they already sent the R.O. to his bank account on specfied date but the assesse said that he did not received the same. Now what to do as already the validity of R.O. has also expired even the same is not received by the Assesse

Go to tin-nsdl.com and see the status of refund by entering the particulars of pan etc. you will get the status of cheque sent to the bank by deptt. take the print of the same and go to your assessing officer with appropriate representation for issuing of another refund voucher
