30 May 2012 INCOME TAX QUERY:- Vibha Raju a American citizen with Dual citizenship of India: Property purchased in Year 2007
Registry April 2012
Value-4410000/- (Registry agreement-1700000/- & Additional work agreement-2710000/-)
Registry exp-190000/-; Interest on loan 400000/-
Want to sale; Existing rate 5800000/-
No PAN Card in India
Would like to immediately repatriate funds,has an NRE account.
I would like to understand the following:-
1. What would be tax liability?
2.When does the Tax become due?
3.How soon fund be repatriated?
4.Procedure For Tax filing?
5.The time it would take to file return in order to repatriate funds.Particularly considering she does not have a PAN Card.
