Hi
suppose an employee quits a company after working for 2 months in an organisation. Should that organisation compute his tax considering his salary for 2 months or for full year and deduct average tds?
suppose an employee quits a company after working for 2 months in an organisation. Should that organisation compute his tax considering his salary for 2 months or for full year and deduct average tds?

Tax should be deducted at the "average rate of tax" found out on the presumption that the employee is employed throughout the year.
