can anyone briefly explain about the income tax clearance in property sale. the limits, to be obtained by whom etc....

Income tax clearance for selling property is not in statute now.

There was a section 230A in the income tax Act,1961 regarding IT clearance certificate for transfer of immovable properties which was omitted by the Finance Act,2001 w.e.f 1/6/2001.
