31 May 2009 In what capacity? Salary or professional fees? Say the management trainee is paid Rs.10000/- for 5 months what is the tax implication?

01 June 2009 IT should be done as per salary TDS. Amount paid to trainee engineers will be considered as salary as per the defination given in various tax mannual. It also covered the stipend paid.

01 June 2009 That means for payment of 50000/- there will be no TDS.
