dear expert
my friend is a civiljudge his income 6 lakh per annum he is confuse about how to pay tax,but i suggest to get form 16 ?
it is neceesry if the govt.cuts his tds.how will assess his income?please help there is necessery to pay advance tax

if the TDS is being correctly deducted on salary, no need to worry...regarding computation of tax liability, yes you would require salary slips or form 16 to arrive at the correct figure...
with regards to how you will assess the income..in the same manner as you do in any other case...what relevance does TDS has here?
