The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India proposes to make certain changes in the existing name of Chartered Accountant Course by issue of Notification No.1-CA(7)/145/2012. Dated 23-12-2012. The proposed name will be as follow:

The Council said that notice is hereby given that the said draft regulation shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of forty-five days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India, in which these draft regulations are published, are made available to the public. “Provided that a candidate who has been exempted from passing Common Proficiency Test under sub-regulation (1A) of regulation 25D and enrolled for the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course shall be eligible to appear in the examination on completion of nine months of practical training under regulation 50.”;
