05 July 2011 can a person having turnover more than 10 lakh be safe from penal provision of not having tin no.? how can he be saved from penal provision, except applying for tin no.?

05 July 2011 As per Income Tax act if a individual's turnover exceeds the minimum amount of turnover as per section 44AB then he is required to have TIN Number. At present the turnover specified is 60 lacs.
