how to find the no of directors of the company

Can any one tell me that how i can find out the details of the director like number of directors of the company and there share holdings in that company

08 November 2010 Hi....

You can check out the Annual Report of the Company for the financial year 2009-10. Alternatively, tou can also check outthe details of the Director of a particular Company by checking out the Company Master Data on MCA21 Portal.

Howver, you can't check out the details of the Director's shareholding in that Company/ its Holding Company/ its subsidiaries/ subsidiaries of its Holding Company unless and until you are a member or debenture holder of that Company.

However, pursuant to the provisions of section 307 of the Companies Act, 1956 a member or debenture holder can inspect the Register of Director's shareholding only 14 days prior to the day of the AGM up to 3 days after the conclusion of the AGM. In the aforesaid period Saturdays,Sundays and Public Holdiays shall be excluded!

GO TO ABOVE LINK (VIEW SIGNATORY DETAILS). TYPE THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY, SEARCH AND SUBMIT. YOU CAN VIEW THE LIST OF DIRECTORS.
TO KNOW ABOUT THE NO OF SHARES HELD BY THEM YOU CAN GO TO VIEW PUBLIC DOCUMENT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ANNUAL RETURN FILED BY THE COMPANY. BUT REMEMBER IT IS A PAID SERVICE. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY REQUISITE FEE OF RS 50/-
