19 September 2009 I AM CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS I HAVE GOOD KNOLEDGE OF AUDIT I WANT TO JOIN INDUSTRIES BUT I DONOT HAVE PRACTICAL KNOLEDGE OF VAT , PROJECT FINANCE, EXCISE AND CUSTOMES . PLEASE GUIDE ME WHETHER THERE ARE COACHING CLASSES FOR THIS KIND OF PRACTICAL WORK OR GIVE ME NAME OF FIRMS OR COMPANY WHICH TEACHES US THIS KIND OF WORK

ARE THERE ANY BOOKS SUGGEST NAMES OF THEM GIVING PRACTICAL KNOLEDGE ?

19 September 2009 There are no classes that can give u practical training on the above matters. U just have your basics perfect... join the industry as a fresher.... and learn practically from the job that u do.... U have to be your own teacher.... No one will spoon feed you life long..... Right. So All the best.... be true to the work that u do and success will follow your way.

Bro.. U can do one more thing...u can make dairy of imp. point of each subjects like excise.custom...or just take photocopies with some short notes or like PADUKA's fast track..to get quick recall.

That will gives u initial feedback ...this is not ur problem...this is problem of each CA...Because no CA here have knowledge of each area.

How's that.
