Please guide.

Regards,
Devendra K

02 July 2011 There is a option in the ITR 4 where IT deptt ask about maintenance of accounts. Mention no there and hence no need to fill any other Balance Sheet item.

03 July 2011 Yes you can do so but if you do so then if you have prepared his Balance Sheet then do not upload his Balance Sheet as well as his no accounts. If you do so then your income as shown under profession and no accounts shall be added to-gather and there shall be tax demand against your client.

If you load both then you will get a massage also that it is not permitted and you are taking the risk.

04 July 2011 just mention No accounts maintained in ITR
