Is there any possibility to extend the GSTR-9 and 9C for the FY 2024-25 ?

15 December 2025 As of now, the due date for filing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for FY 2024-25 remains 31st December 2025, and the government has not announced any extension. While professional bodies like the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society (BCAS) have submitted representations requesting an extension, the GST Council and CBIC have not yet granted relief.
Unless the GST Council issues a notification, you should plan for the 31st December 2025 deadline. Representations are ongoing, but the government stance suggests no extension is expected.
