I want to apply for new gst number for sole proprietorship but the addres proof of shop is in the name of propritors father (who is no longer alive ) should it will work as proof of shop address??

Transfer electricity connection in your name & give electricity bill aa proof of shop.

Submit ELETRICITY Bill along with Dead Certificate and Proof of Inheritence.
Submit application for transfer of ELETRICITY meter in your name and upload acknowledge along with Dead Certificate.

The landlord is death after death who is the holdings of rights as the asset. The person ll be given Rent Agreement.

Take consent letter from the person to whom property is inherited.
Also inheritance certificate on name of that person to be keep in hand.
